Final Fantasy XIII is the long-awaited continuation of the Final Fantasy games from the famous Japanese company Square Enix. The thirteenth game in this series looks just amazing.
The plot of the game is built around a certain ancient race named Fal´Sie. It has existed since before the rise of the human race. All people marked fal´Sie for higher purposes were called el´Sie. Many years ago (more precisely, thirteen centuries ago), the mystical Crystal gave the order to fal´Sie to create a paradise for people. They obeyed, created a city in the form of a shell, and named it Cocoon. After some time, the city had its own Crystal and created life and machines for its inhabitants. The people of Cocoon began to prosper. As Cocoon hovered in the air above the surface of the world of Pulse, its inhabitants began to fear that their city might simply fall from the sky. The inhabitants of the floating city believed that being on the surface of the Pulse had a very negative effect on people, and the Cocoon Holy Government decided to isolate everyone who fell under this negative influence.
