212. At 0 °C, the adsorption isotherm of butane on NiO powder was taken and the following results were obtained for the volume of adsorbed gas under normal conditions, per 1 g of oxide:

p, kPa 7.54 11.9 16.5 20.3 23.0
V, cm3/g 16.5 20.7 24.4 27.1 29.1
According to these data: a) using the BET isotherm, calculate the volume of adsorbed butane required to fill the monomolecular layer (saturated pressure is 103.24 kPa), b) using the same isotherm, calculate the specific surface of the powder (butane landing area is 44.6 * 10 –20 m2), c) construct a linearized Langmuir isotherm and determine the specific surface of the powder from it. Compare the two results.
