Anomaly 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Anomaly Warzone Earth. Keeping the core elements of the original, Anomaly 2 adds new features to the single-player campaign and finally puts your skills to the test in a completely unique experience: tower defense vs. tower attack!
In the years following the 2018 invasion of Earth, the planet has been invaded by alien machines. Humanity is on the verge of extinction. Uniting in huge columns, they search the frozen tundra in search of food and supplies. After the war, the roles have been reversed: now our species seems to be an anomaly on a planet ruled by machines. Your convoy, Commander, is called Yukon.
Anomaly 2 takes the concept of attacking the RTS towers from Anomaly Warzone Earth to a new level. The main elements of the original - tactical planning and a field commander to support troops in battle - are supplemented with a number of important new features.
• Turn your troops into combat robots to discover a new face of strategy: each unit has its own form of mech with different abilities to help you overcome specific combat situations.
• Participate in a multiplayer game unique to Anomaly 2: tower defense vs. tower offense. Play as towers and destroy people or lead people to destroy alien towers.
• Fight in a post-apocalyptic world in a new single-player campaign that offers a richer strategy experience than the acclaimed original.
• Forge your own path to victory and create your perfect battle squad. With over a million tactical combinations to build your squad, your options in combat are almost limitless.
• Immerse yourself in a beautifully rendered world thanks to the team´s updated and improved visual engine.
• Experience alternate endings depending on how you approach enemy vehicles in the campaign.
