Description:
There is a new contender in the platform fighting game arena! Brawlout combines local and online game modes, combining platformer mechanics and traditional fighting game in a stylish royal battle. By finding a balance between the growing competitive scene and the roots of the party game genre, Brawlout hopes to cater to platformer veterans, casual enthusiasts and newcomers who want to make their mark. Each character in Brawlout has their own unique style of play, corresponding to certain archetypes typical of other fighters. Whether you´re a diehard grappler or a fast-moving weasel, Brawlout has a fighter for you. Currently, there are six original characters and four popular indie characters to choose from, which allow you to use different game styles from: Dead Cells Yooka-Laylee Guacamelee Hyper Light Drifter In addition to cosmetic skins, each original Brawlout character has three options; alternative versions of the character with different characteristics, outfits and even new movements. With these options, the Brawlout cast has 25 individual fighters. Find a fighter and an option that suits you, and tear everyone apart on the battlefield. Combined with familiar movement techniques such as wave swinging and mid-air dodging, Brawlout adds some additional mechanics that can be seen in other fighting games. The Rage counter accumulates as you deal and take damage, allowing you to either interrupt combos with a Burst of Rage, or make a real hell in Rage Mode. A burst of rage knocks opponents back, interrupting their combos and allowing players to create respite at the expense of half the rage scale. If the counter fills up, you can activate Rage mode, increasing the damage you deal and reducing the amount of damage you receive. As for the modes, Brawlout has everything you would expect from a regular brawler, and even more. Up to four players can compete in Timed, Stock, Team Battles, FFA or Party modes. AI opponents are also available if you want to practice your team combinations with a friend or if you just need to have fun.
